The draw is infrastructure: 375 suites, seven restaurants and seven bars, and Canapolis, a water park with slides and a lazy river that is the reason most families pick this over its neighbours. Punta Cana airport is about fifteen minutes away. Juanillo is one of the better resort beaches on this coast, with the standing caveat that sargassum arrives most springs and summers and can change the week.
