This is an adults-only, all-suite resort in Uvero Alto, about 45 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.
The beach setting is a major strength, but the ocean is not consistently calm; recent guest and Reddit feedback repeatedly mentions choppy surf, red flags, seaweed, and undertow.
The resort is secluded and best for travelers who want to stay mostly on property rather than walk to town.
Most dinner venues do not require reservations, but the Teppanyaki station is an exception.
Hidden tips
Choose Excellence Club for the private lounge, private pool areas, and exclusive dining access rather than expecting a dramatically different room footprint.
Ocean-view Excellence Club categories are the safest upgrade target for couples prioritizing views and a more romantic feel.
Travelers sensitive to waves should treat the pools as the dependable swim option and the beach as a scenery and walking feature first.
