Against Sandals, its most common comparison, Excellence reads less honeymoon-packaged and more grown-up resort: fewer themed inclusions (no scuba in the base rate), but larger rooms for the money and a food program that regular guests rave about. One honest caveat: as of mid-2026 the program is paused for new enrollments while the brand refreshes it. Existing members keep their benefits; if you're new, watch for the relaunch before counting on it.
