The lineup used to be tiered by standard: Luxury for the adults-forward top end, Grand for the mainstream family core, and Fantasia for the theatrical, castle-and-character resorts aimed squarely at kids. In late March 2026 the chain replaced all of those with two audience sub-brands, Bahia Principe Explore for families and groups and Bahia Principe Escape for adults-only, so a resort you booked as a Grand may now be listed as an Explore. We use the chain's current names below; booking sites and reviews will carry the old ones for a while yet, so match a resort by its address rather than its label.
