Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is the family half of a two-resort complex on Juanillo Beach, inside the gated Cap Cana estate. Punta Cana airport is about fifteen minutes away. Juanillo is one of the better resort beaches on this coast, with the standing caveat that sargassum arrives most springs and summers and can change the week.

It is a true plan in a country where they are still rare, about 44 minutes from Pula's airport, on a pine-clad bay with the resort stepping down the hillside to the water, and the beaches here are pebble rather than sand. That last point decides more holidays than the brochure admits, and water shoes settle it.

The resort is two experiences under one name, and the tier decides which one you get.
