It is about 15 minutes from Heraklion's airport, a five-star with seven restaurants, five bars, five pools with waterslides, swim-up rooms and private-pool suites on a beachfront. It has the quality of the Mitsis flagships with a shorter transfer than any of them.
Guests praise the food variety and the a la carte restaurants, the friendly staff and the polished condition of the resort, and a beachfront so close to the airport that the first swim comes within the hour. The complaints are that the a la carte restaurants need booking early, that the main pool is deep for young children, and that some family room bed layouts and storage disappoint.
