Ikos launched in Halkidiki in 2015, from the Greek group behind Sani Resort, with a simple bet: build an all-inclusive good enough that the term stops being a warning label. The "Infinite Lifestyle" rate folds in what other chains upsell: a la carte restaurants with menus consulted by Michelin-starred chefs, a wine cellar running to hundreds of labels, 24-hour room service, and Dine Out, which covers dinner at partner tavernas and restaurants in the local town. Add the included local-discovery car day at most properties and Ikos is unusually generous about letting you leave the resort.

Last reviewed July 2026 How we score

It worked. Ikos properties sit at or near the top of guest ratings everywhere they open, and the brand has grown from the original Halkidiki pair to Corfu, Kos, Crete, and Spain's Costa del Sol, with more Mediterranean openings in the pipeline. The trade-offs are seasonal: most properties close for winter, school-holiday weeks are family-dense, and a few headline perks are gated behind the Deluxe Collection room tier. Book early; peak summer sells out months ahead.

The Corfu Ikos, set on a private beach and bay backed by green hills. Same winning hand — Michelin-starred dining, the dine-out program at local restaurants, and a proper kids' club that makes it work for families. Lush, polished, and easy. Best May through October.

  5. Ikos Andalusia's outdoor bar terrace features woven pendant lamps, bar seating, and tall palm trees with pink flowering plants in foreground.

    Ikos Andalusia

    Estepona, Costa del Sol, Spain
    Five-star4.6 guest rating (1,077)Palmprint 9.2/10From $355/night pp

Ikos brought its Greek playbook to Spain's Costa del Sol — Michelin-inspired menus, the Infinite Lifestyle dine-out program at local restaurants, and a polished beachfront base near Estepona. Four pools and water sports keep everyone busy. If you love Ikos in Greece, this is the Spanish version. Best April through October.

  6. Modern gray and white resort buildings with landscaped grounds featuring red flowers, palm trees, and manicured lawn under clear blue sky.

    Ikos Olivia

    Halkidiki, Greece
    Five-star4.8 guest rating (1,549)Palmprint 8.9/10From $457/night pp

The Ikos that put Halkidiki on the map — seven à la carte restaurants, a 300m private beach, and the upgraded Deluxe Collection suites. It's the more grown-up, gardens-and-greenery side of the Ikos family, though still family-capable. A safe bet for refined Greek all-inclusive. Best May through September.

  7. Resort courtyard with stone buildings, desert landscaping, umbrellas, and seating areas under pergolas.

    Ikos Kissamos

    Kissamos, Crete, Greece
    Five-star4.7 guest rating (148)Palmprint 8.8/10From $2046/night pp

Ikos keeps expanding and they keep getting it right. Kissamos is their newest Crete property — 53 acres, seven restaurants with Michelin-starred chefs, and their Infinite Lifestyle concept where you can dine out at local restaurants on their tab. If you've done Ikos before you know the standard. If you haven't, this would be a great first one.

The case for

Book Ikos if

  • Food-driven travelers who would normally rule out all-inclusive on principle
  • Families who want real luxury without giving up creche and kids-club coverage
  • Trips where you want to explore beyond the gates: Dine Out and the car day mean leaving doesn't feel like paying twice
The caveats

Know before you book

  • Strictly seasonal: plan around roughly May to October, and book far ahead for July and August
  • Peak school holidays are lively with kids; couples wanting quiet should aim for shoulder season and the adults-only areas
  • Some perks (certain restaurants, premium extras) depend on the Deluxe Collection tier, so read the room category before assuming

Frequently asked questions

Are Ikos resorts adults-only?

No. Every Ikos property is all-ages, with a creche, kids clubs, and family suites. Each resort carves out adults-only pools and quiet zones, but there is no adults-only property in the brand; couples who want a fully child-free trip should compare our adults-only list instead.

What does Ikos' Infinite Lifestyle actually include?

Effectively everything most chains charge extra for: multiple a la carte restaurants with Michelin-consulted menus, premium drinks and an extensive wine list, 24-hour room service, minibar restocked daily, beach and pool service, and Dine Out dinners at partner restaurants in town. Most properties also include a day's use of a car for exploring locally.

Where are Ikos resorts located?

Seven properties in our catalog: Olivia and Oceania in Halkidiki, Dassia and Odisia on Corfu, Aria on Kos, Kissamos on Crete, and Andalusia on Spain's Costa del Sol. The ranking above compares all of them on real guest ratings and our category scores.
