    Hotel MySeaHouse Flamingo

    Four-star, adults-only4.8 guest rating (2,695)Palmprint 8.8/10From $209/night pp

Hotel MySeaHouse Flamingo is a 110-room adults-only hotel on the sand at Playa de Palma, ten minutes from Mallorca's airport. It is the shortest transfer in our Spanish catalog and it sits on a broad, calm Mediterranean beach with the promenade at the door. Three pools, one of them indoor and heated year-round, a spa, and a single restaurant: the scale is boutique rather than resort. The board basis is the thing to sort out before booking, and we would ask for it in writing. The hotel's own site sells breakfast and half board, with dinner drinks charged separately, while all-inclusive appears through booking sites and tour operators; we have not been able to publish what its drinks and lunches actually cover. Dining happens at Arrels for breakfast and dinner and at Bar Es Sifon for cocktails and light lunches, with no reservations needed at either. Room service carries a service charge, the spa treatments are extra, and the transfer for the seven kilometres from the airport is a taxi or a bus rather than a shuttle. Our sample puts a night at 418 dollars for two, and the two things guests are consistent about are worth knowing in opposite directions. The food and the staff draw genuinely strong marks for a hotel this size, which is what earns the 8.8. And Playa de Palma is a nightlife strip, so ask about the room's position if quiet matters. Pick a direct sea view or the rooftop category if the view is the reason you are paying for the beachfront.
