Top 10 All-Inclusive Resorts in the Balearic Islands

The Balearics are Spain's summer islands: a short flight from anywhere in Europe, Mediterranean water that is warm from June to September, and a resort for every kind of trip. Mallorca carries almost all of the all-inclusive scene, with the family beaches of the north bay at Alcúdia and Playa de Muro, the Palma bay for convenience, the upscale south-west around Camp de Mar, and coves down the east coast. Ibiza's choice is thin and its prices the highest in the islands.

Plan the trip

Picking the resort is half the work; our Balearic Islands travel guide covers the rest: when to go, weather month by month, safety and entry requirements, and how the areas differ.

How this ranking works

Every list on this site draws from the same catalog: resorts we've individually researched, with the all-inclusive fine print read so you don't have to. The order weighs verified guest ratings, what's genuinely included at the base rate, and how each property performs on the thing this list is about: here, balearic islands.

The seal next to a resort is its Palmprint: our 0–10 grade for how well it delivers on this list's promise, the same mark you'll find on its full profile. The details of what we weigh, and what disqualifies a resort outright, live in how we score. Lists are re-reviewed as ratings and policies change; this one was last checked September 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Which coast of Mallorca is best?

The north bay for children and sand, the Palma bay for the shortest transfer and the city, the south-west for a polished couples' week under the mountains, and the east coast for calm and coves at the longest drive from the airport. The ranking below covers all of them.

When is the Balearic season?

May to October, with June and September the sweet spots and July and August for the full beach season and full crowds. The islands run on a summer calendar, and for winter sun the Canaries are the Spanish answer.

When is the best time to visit the Balearic Islands?

The sweet spot is June and September for warmth without peak crowds; July–August for full beach season. The rainy season runs September–November brings the odd storm; many resorts close from November to March. No tropical systems; dry, reliable Mediterranean summers.
