Samabe holds eight hectares of clifftop at the southern end of Nusa Dua, with 81 suites and villas and its own stretch of beach below. The suites start at 135 square metres and the pool suites at 180, which is a lot of room by Bali standards, and the butler service and the quiet are what guests write about afterwards. Beach access is a clifftop arrangement rather than a flat walk onto sand, and the tide changes what you find down there. All-inclusive here is a package called Unlimited Privileges, not the default: the resort also sells the rooms on their own, so the booking you make decides what kind of holiday you get. On the package, meals and drinks are covered around the clock, in-suite and in-villa dining runs 24 hours, non-motorised watersports are included, and a return airport transfer arrives once you stay five nights or more. Two restaurants cover Indonesian, Asian and a Mediterranean grill, with two bars. Spa entitlements vary by package, so read yours. Rates we have sampled run from 367 to 529 dollars a night for two, and the arithmetic is the whole decision with this one. Nusa Dua and the rest of Bali are full of restaurants worth leaving a resort for, so price the room-only rate against the package honestly and count the meals you will actually eat here. If the answer is most of them, the villa space and the butler make this one of the better inclusive stays on the island. If not, book the room and keep your evenings.
