Ikos Odisia sits on a serviced bay at Dassia on Corfu, and its headline number is ten heated pools plus separate splash parks for children. Eight restaurants and six bars sit behind that, and the childcare runs from six months old through to seventeen, which is a wider band than almost anything else in our Greek catalog. The beach is calm and Ionian rather than dramatic; the resort is what people come for.
The all-inclusive band is the most generous in Europe and then some. Eight kitchens cover Greek, Italian, Asian, Spanish, a Mediterranean buffet and a beach grill, with menus designed by Michelin-starred chefs and more than a hundred wines, and the Dine Out programme puts local restaurants on the same terms. Beyond the food, the Local Discovery scheme lends you an electric MINI and hands over a Culture Pass. Rooms run from a superior double to four-bedroom villas with private pools, with a 70 square metre family room sleeping five in between.
