Top 10 All-Inclusive Resorts in Jamaica

Jamaica is where the all-inclusive was born (Negril and Montego Bay properties pioneered the model), and the island still runs it with more personality than anywhere else: real jerk shacks on property, swim-up bars that predate the trend, and staff culture that guests mention more than the pools. The scene splits across three hubs: Montego Bay for airport convenience, Negril for the famous seven miles of sand and sunsets, Ocho Rios for gardens and waterfalls.

Plan the trip

Picking the resort is half the work; our Jamaica travel guide covers the rest: when to go, weather month by month, safety and entry requirements, and how the areas differ.

How this ranking works

Every list on this site draws from the same catalog: resorts we've individually researched, with the all-inclusive fine print read so you don't have to. The order weighs verified guest ratings, what's genuinely included at the base rate, and how each property performs on the thing this list is about: here, jamaica.

The seal next to a resort is its Palmprint: our 0–10 grade for how well it delivers on this list's promise, the same mark you'll find on its full profile. The details of what we weigh, and what disqualifies a resort outright, live in how we score. Lists are re-reviewed as ratings and policies change; this one was last checked July 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Which part of Jamaica is best for an all-inclusive?

Montego Bay if you want a short airport transfer and lots of resort choice; Negril for the island's best beach and its famous sunsets (about 90 minutes from MBJ); Ocho Rios for a lusher, greener setting near Dunn's River Falls. All three have strong resorts; the transfer time is usually the deciding factor.

When is the best time to visit Jamaica?

The sweet spot is December–April. The rainy season runs May–June and September–November, mostly short afternoon bursts. Inside the hurricane belt; season runs June–November with the highest odds August–October. Direct hits are rare in any given year, but travel insurance is smart for fall trips.
