Round Hill is a gated estate west of Montego Bay holding 36 hotel rooms, five suites and 27 privately owned villas. It has been Jamaica's quiet-luxury address for decades. The beach is protected and calm, there is an infinity pool with villa pools scattered above it, and the atmosphere is deliberately hushed: the recurring note from guests is the service, and the recurring warning is that nobody comes here for nightlife.
The inclusive plan is optional and, more to the point, it is a dining and beverage plan rather than an all-activities one. It covers breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks by the glass, with house wines, spirits, cocktails and beer, and it excludes premium beverages, some high-end menu items and special events. In-room dining carries a delivery fee, the spa is charged, and so is the airport transfer for the thirty-minute drive. The Pineapple Kids Club takes ages three to twelve, and the villas can be staffed with nannies on request, which is why multigenerational groups keep choosing this over a conventional resort.
