JOIA Rose Hall is an adults-only all-inclusive outside Montego Bay, for couples who want butler service and the food guests keep talking about. It is about 20 minutes from Sangster International, and it is the polished adult section inside the larger Iberostar Rose Hall complex, with five restaurants, four bars, swim-out suites and butlers in selected rooms. This was Iberostar Grand Rose Hall until the rename, so older reviews describe the same resort under another name.
Guests praise the food and drinks, the butler and the staff, the adults-only atmosphere, and a beach that snorkels well by Montego Bay standards. The complaints are a short beach walk, vendors working the sand outside the protected section, and the occasional service failure at odds with the price. The thing people wish they had known is that JOIA is the calm part of a busier complex, and that the beach is pleasant rather than one of Jamaica's long ones.
The plan covers the five restaurants, the bars, 24-hour room service and the Star Cafe, Wi-Fi, and dining across the wider Rose Hall complex; the spa and the excursions are extra, the premium-label boundary is worth asking about, and the free transfer the resort advertises should be confirmed with whoever you book through.
