Yes: a long, safe, sandy beach, reliable sun, winter warmth and resorts built for families. The sea is cool year-round, so the resort pools carry the swimming, and the beach is for sand, camels and surf lessons for older children up at Taghazout.

Can you visit Marrakech with children from the coast?

Easily, as a day trip or a two-night add-on. It is about an hour by road or a short flight, and the souks, the square and the gardens are a memorable day for children old enough to handle crowds. Many families do the beach first and Marrakech last.
