The city is a day trip rather than a doorstep: the hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport and not walkable to the medina, so every visit to the souks and the squares is a taxi or a shuttle to plan. Treat it as a pool holiday with Marrakech attached and it delivers; treat it as a city hotel and it will disappoint.
Guests praise the large heated pool and the children's splash park, the staff, the animation team and the bar service, and the calm of the grounds after a day in the city. The complaints are food and drinks that grow repetitive over a week, bathrooms and room upkeep that vary, and the transport question above.
