Hotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie
Things to know
before you go
Hotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie is a four-star, all-inclusive RIU resort in Marrakech’s Palmeraie/Annakhil area.
Its strongest fit is families and travelers who want pools, gardens, animation, and easy all-inclusive structure rather than a medina hotel.
The resort is not walkable to central Marrakech attractions, though shuttle/taxi access is a recurring practical advantage.
Pool areas and staff receive stronger guest sentiment than room freshness and food variety.
Because this is a lively family resort, it may not suit couples looking for a small, quiet, boutique-style Marrakech stay.
Hidden tips
Request a quieter room away from entertainment areas if sleep quality matters.
Use the shuttle schedule early in the stay so the return pickup point is clear before heading into town.
Inspect the room and bathroom on arrival and request a change quickly if maintenance issues are present.
Peak pool days can create sunbed competition, so choose travel dates and expectations accordingly.
Things guests wish they had known
This is an inland Palmeraie resort, not a beach resort.
The resort works best as a pool-and-garden base with shuttle or taxi trips into Marrakech.
Room-condition feedback is more mixed than feedback about staff and pools.
Travelers who want to walk out directly into the medina should choose a more central Marrakech hotel.
Strengths from our research
Large renovated pool area and attractive garden setting.
Strong staff and animation-team sentiment across guest sources.
Good family amenities, including RIU Land and children’s activities.
All-inclusive setup with multiple restaurants and bars.
Practical base for Marrakech if guests are comfortable using shuttle or taxi transport.
Other considerations from our research
Not beachfront and not walkable to the medina.
Rooms receive mixed feedback for age, lighting, and maintenance consistency.
Food can become repetitive for longer stays.
The atmosphere can be active and entertainment-led rather than quiet.
Exact room count is inconsistent across sources.
