Top 10 Family All-Inclusive Resorts in Egypt

Egypt's Red Sea is a family beach coast with the sun guaranteed: Hurghada and the bays either side of it hold the big aqua-park resorts on sandy beaches, twenty to forty minutes from the airport, and Sharm el-Sheikh across the water has reef right off the shore for children old enough to snorkel. There is effectively no rain to plan around, the sea stays swimmable all winter, and the resorts run kids' clubs and entertainment programmes built for European families who come here every year.

Every resort below welcomes children and runs genuine kids' programming. We rank on what parents actually vet: supervised club ages, rooms that sleep four without a rollaway, pools a toddler can use, and dining that does not turn dinner into a negotiation. Plan the trip

Picking the resort is half the work; our Egypt travel guide covers the rest: when to go, weather month by month, safety and entry requirements, and how the areas differ.

How this ranking works

Every list on this site draws from the same catalog: resorts we've individually researched, with the all-inclusive fine print read so you don't have to. The order weighs verified guest ratings, what's genuinely included at the base rate, and how each property performs on the thing this list is about: here, egypt family.

The seal next to a resort is its Palmprint: our 0–10 grade for how well it delivers on this list's promise, the same mark you'll find on its full profile. The details of what we weigh, and what disqualifies a resort outright, live in how we score. Lists are re-reviewed as ratings and policies change; this one was last checked September 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Hurghada or Sharm el-Sheikh for a family?

Hurghada and its bays for younger children: sandy beaches, aqua parks and lower prices. Sharm for families with confident swimmers, because the snorkelling off the beach is the best in the country and much of the coast is coral rather than sand at the waterline, so check for a jetty or a lagoon.

When is the best time for a family trip to the Red Sea?

October to May: warm days, a swimmable sea and sun almost guaranteed. High summer is very hot, which the pools handle and small children do not. There is no rainy season and no tropical weather.
