Zilwa Attitude is a value all-inclusive on Mauritius's north coast, for travellers who want Mauritian cooking and a barbecue on a private islet. It is a four-star at Calodyne with seven restaurants, four bars and four pools, and the roster is the point: a Mauritian kitchen, a Sino-Mauritian one, an Indian, a Thai, two buffets, and Gran Zil, the barbecue on its own island. All-inclusive is a package with conditions rather than the rate.
Guests praise the friendly service, the value of the package, the food variety and the Dine Around, and the family atmosphere. The complaints are all-inclusive rules that come with conditions attached, and a lagoon and beach that vary with the season. The thing people wish they had known is that Dine Around carries minimum-stay and reservation rules, and that this is a value pick rather than luxury Mauritius.
