About The Bay an Uga Experience - Pasikuda

The Bay is a 48-room resort on Pasikuda Bay, on Sri Lanka's quiet east coast, and the bay is the reason to come. It is shallow, reef-protected and about as easy to swim in as anywhere on the island, which guests mention more than anything else. Rooms are generously sized, from 54 square metre studios up to a 149 square metre suite and a 316 square metre beach villa, and there is a thirty-metre pool.

All-inclusive is not the resort's own product. Its site sells half board and full board, and the all-inclusive packages come through tour operators, which is why the drinks limits are the most common complaint from guests who booked one: bottled wine and premium selections tend to sit outside the plan. Get your board basis in writing, including what the 24-hour in-room dining and the private beach barbecues cost on your rate. One restaurant and two bars is the whole dining footprint. There is no supervised kids club, though the calm water and the family rooms do a lot of the work.
