Sandals Ochi is one of the biggest and best-value Sandals resorts, with huge dining and nightlife variety but a more mixed room/service reputation than top-tier Sandals properties.
The resort is split between beach and hillside areas, so room location matters a lot.
It is better for active couples, dining variety and nightlife than for travelers seeking a perfect quiet beach.
Hidden tips
Choose beach-side/Riviera locations if you want easier access to the beach, restaurants and entertainment.
Use OCJ flights when available to cut transfer time dramatically versus MBJ.
Do not book the cheapest hillside room if shuttle logistics or dated-room risk would bother you.

The fact sheet dated Dec 18, 2025 counts 105 freshwater pools, twenty-two whirlpools and a scuba training pool. Most are the private and semi-private pools of the Butler Village villas; the main shared pools are at the Great House, the Riviera and Ochi Beach Club, each with a swim-up bar.
