Royal Davui is a sixteen-villa private island in Fiji's Beqa Lagoon, and the number is the product. Every villa has its own plunge pool, the largest runs to 110 square metres, and the reef is close enough that the guided house-reef snorkel is a walk and a swim rather than a boat trip. Guests are unanimous about the privacy and the marine life. Adults-only here means sixteen and over rather than eighteen, which is worth knowing either way.
The inclusive model is meals, not everything, and this is the single most important thing to understand before booking. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day, in the restaurant, on the beach, by the pool or in your villa, along with paddleboards, sea kayaks, Hobie cat sailing and that guided snorkel. Alcohol is not: cocktails, wine and beer are charged, as are scuba diving, spa treatments, fishing trips and the private signature experiences. Starlink covers the island, and room service comes with the rate.
Rates we have sampled run from 2,226 to 2,413 dollars a night for two, so the drinks bill on top is not a rounding error and should go in the budget before you commit. Return transfers from Nadi are included once you stay five nights or more, which makes a shorter trip disproportionately expensive and is the clearest argument for the longer booking. One restaurant means one menu each evening, so choose this for quiet, reef and a villa you rarely leave, not for choice at dinner.
