A shuttle charged per person can add up, while a private vehicle may cover the whole group and take you directly to the resort. Compare the same passengers, luggage and one-way or round-trip journey before deciding.

Does your hotel booking include a shuttle?

Princess Grand Jamaica and Princess Senses The Mangrove offer a shared round-trip MBJ shuttle with qualifying website reservations of at least three nights. The current promotion has booking and travel dates, excluded December nights and a flight-information deadline of at least 72 hours. Some named suite categories receive luxury private transport instead, so check the terms for your exact room before buying another ride.

RIU’s Jamaica transfer portal offers shared, private and deluxe services. That does not establish a free airport ride with every RIU room reservation; check your hotel or vacation-package confirmation, then request a current quote if transportation is separate.

Compare the full group price

Ask whether each fare is per person or per vehicle and whether it covers airport fees, luggage, waiting time and any child seats. A private car can be competitive for a family or group, but the better price depends on the current quotes for your actual resort route.

A shared shuttle can collect other passengers or stop at other hotels, while a private ride generally goes straight to your destination. If transport is already included, weigh the convenience of upgrading against the extra cost and confirm whether your included service is itself private.

Use Sangster International Airport (MBJ), also called Montego Bay Airport, as your pickup when it matches your flight booking. Enter the full resort name and address from your confirmation. Hotel Riu Montego Bay, Riu Palace Jamaica and Riu Reggae are separate properties in Mahoe Bay, so check the drop-off carefully.

Princess Grand Jamaica and Princess Senses The Mangrove are separate resorts in the Green Island area, farther along the coast. A price to central Montego Bay is not a quote to either Princess resort. Other Jamaica destinations, including Negril and Ocho Rios, also need their own exact routes; confirm provider availability before paying.
