Is Punta Cana good for a toddler vacation?
Genuinely: the beaches shelve gradually, the resorts are built for families, and the value leaves budget for a nanny day or a bigger room. The two things to vet are the kids' club starting age (this list handles that) and sargassum season, which peaks roughly April through August and varies beach by beach.
How long is the transfer from PUJ with a small child?
Most Punta Cana and Cap Cana resorts sit 15–40 minutes from the airport, one of the shortest rides in the Caribbean, which matters at nap time. Book a private transfer with a car seat in advance; they exist but aren't the default at the taxi rank.
