Hotel Caesar Palace is a value family all-inclusive at Giardini Naxos, for parents who want a big pool and a free shuttle to the sand. It is about 50 minutes from Catania, a four-star with 223 rooms, two pools including one for children, two restaurants and a bar, roughly a kilometre inland from the beach. The shuttle down to the sand is free, and the pool is where most of the day happens.
Guests praise the size of the pool and the supply of sunbeds, the friendly staff and animation team, the value of the plan, and that free shuttle. The complaints are rooms and decor that feel dated, food that varies from meal to meal, and the simple fact that the hotel is not on the beach. The thing people wish they had known is that it sits inland, so beach trips run on the shuttle, and that the value is better than the luxury.
The plan covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, the daytime drinks and the snacks, Wi-Fi and the mini and junior clubs; premium and imported spirits are not spelled out anywhere public, and the airport transfer is extra.
