Every resort welcomes families and includes the meal plan. Crystal Cove is the bottom of the sampled band. The family score sets the order, so a higher overall score does not jump the queue.

October 2026 review: 9 open family resorts in Barbados, all of them open. None is adults-only. Sampled two-adult From rates ran from $395 to $1,181 a night, median $552. 1. View from a room balcony overlooking the pool area with white umbrellas, palm trees, and multi-story white resort buildings at Sugar Bay Barbados.
    No. 1. Sugar Bay Barbados
    Hastings, Barbados
    Four-star★ 4.5 (1,139)From $290/night ppFamily Palmprint 8.7/10

    Strong family fit.

Sugar Bay is the approachable family all-inclusive on Barbados' south coast, for parents who want a central base near Bridgetown. It is not a secluded resort and does not try to be. It sits on the beach at Hastings, about 20 minutes from the airport, with the capital, Carlisle Bay and the south-coast restaurant strip within an easy taxi. That position is the reason to choose it: a Barbados week that gets off the property, at an all-inclusive price the island rarely offers.

  2. Aerial view of Sea Breeze Beach House resort on a sandy beach with turquoise water, blue loungers, and residential buildings beyond.
No. 2. Sea Breeze Beach House
    Maxwell Coast, Barbados
    Four-star★ 4.4 (810)From $298/night ppFamily Palmprint 8.7/10

True beachfront all-inclusive with premium drinks.

Sea Breeze Beach House holds over a thousand feet of sand on the Maxwell Coast, on the busier south side of Barbados. It is a small resort by all-inclusive standards, 122 rooms, and it feels like a beach house rather than a complex: six restaurants and six bars, three pools, two hot tubs. The south coast trades some calm for convenience, so expect surf that varies and seaweed in the spring and summer months, and snorkelling straight off the beach when conditions allow.

  3. White multi-story resort buildings overlook a turquoise pool surrounded by palm trees and blue lounge chairs on a sunny day at Turtle Beach, Barbados.
No. 3. Turtle Beach, Barbados, A Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort
    Dover, Barbados
    Four-star★ 4.1 (678)From $226/night ppFamily Palmprint 8.6/10

    Strong beachfront family fit.

  4. White multi-story resort buildings overlook a sandy beach and turquoise ocean with breaking waves at Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle.
No. 4. Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle All Inclusive Resort
    Long Bay, Barbados
    Five-star★ 3.9 (847)From $276/night ppFamily Palmprint 8.5/10

Large modern rooms and resort infrastructure.

  5. Orange loungers frame a view of Tamarind's courtyard pool surrounded by cream buildings, palm trees, and pink umbrellas under blue sky.
No. 5. Tamarind, Barbados, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort
    Paynes Bay, Barbados
    Four-star★ 4.2 (331)From $275/night ppFamily Palmprint 8.2/10

Strong west-coast Barbados beach setting on Paynes Bay.

  6. Multi-story beachfront resort with pool, lounge chairs, and palm-lined sand leading to turquoise Caribbean waters.
    No. 6. O2 Beach Club & Spa
    St. Lawrence Gap, Barbados
    Five-star★ 4.5 (690)From $591/night ppFamily Palmprint 8.1/10

Strong luxury all-inclusive dining and beverage scope.

O2 Beach Club is a luxury all-inclusive on the Barbados south coast, for couples who want premium pours and St. Lawrence Gap on the doorstep. It is about 20 minutes from Grantley Adams, with 127 rooms across two buildings, four restaurants and a coffee lounge, six bars, three pools and two swim-up bars, one of those pool areas adults only. The Gap's own restaurants and bars are a walk away, which changes what an all-inclusive is for.

  7. Narrow lap pool with bright blue water flanked by yellow lounge chairs and palm trees at Waves Resort & Spa Barbados.
No. 7. Waves Resort & Spa, Barbados, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort
    Prospect, Barbados
    Four-star★ 4.4 (533)From $229/night ppFamily Palmprint 7.6/10

    Excellent wellness focus.

Waves Resort and Spa faces sheltered Prospect Bay on the Platinum Coast, the calm leeward side of Barbados. Seventy rooms, two restaurants, two pools: this is a wellness resort with an all-inclusive band around it rather than an activity resort, and the Autograph Collection badge is doing less work than the treatment list. The water here slopes gently and stays clear, hawksbill turtles nest along this coast, and the sargassum that troubles the south and east shores mostly leaves the west alone.

  8. Cream-colored beachfront dining pavilion with white linens, woven chairs, and palm trees at dusk.
    No. 8. Mango Bay Hotel
    Holetown, Barbados
    Four-star★ 4.4 (432)From $348/night ppFamily Palmprint 7.6/10

    Excellent west-coast walkability.

  9. Crystal Cove resort grounds with manicured lawn, tropical vegetation, and colorful buildings under blue sky with white clouds.
No. 9. Crystal Cove, Barbados, a Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort
    St James, Barbados
    Four-star★ 4.3 (9)From $198/night pp

    Calm, swimmable West Coast beach.

Plan the trip

Picking the resort is half the work; our Barbados travel guide covers the rest: when to go, weather month by month, safety and entry requirements, and how the areas differ.

How this ranking works

Every list on this site uses the same resorts, with the all-inclusive fine print read so you don't have to. The order weighs verified guest ratings, what's genuinely included at the base rate, and how each property performs on the thing this list is about: here, barbados family.

The seal next to a resort is its Palmprint: a 0 to 10 grade for how well it delivers on this list's promise, the same mark you'll find on its full profile. The details of what we weigh, and what disqualifies a resort outright, live in how we score. Lists are re-reviewed as ratings and policies change; this one was last checked October 2026.
